Our inquiry form for 2025-2026 has launched! The inquiry form is the first step in the admissions process and allows you access to the online application. You can submit an inquiry by clicking here.
Thank you for your interest in Geffen Academy at UCLA! We are enthusiastically accepting applications for grade 6-11. Applications for grade 12 are considered on a case-by-case basis. If you are interested in inquiring further, please email admissions@geffenacademy.ucla.edu.
Interviews and Tours: Interviews with our Admissions Team are available on a first come, first served basis and include a tour of Geffen Academy at UCLA. To be eligible for an interview, your application form and application payment must be submitted prior to your interview request. Interviews are not guaranteed after the interview guarantee deadline and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tours outside of the interview are not available, please visit Contact/Visit Us for more opportunities to visit our campus.

Testing Policy: For the 2026-2027 admissions season, Geffen Academy at UCLA strongly encourages testing for applicants. At Geffen Academy at UCLA, we value a comprehensive evaluation of applicants, which incorporates various factors, including test scores, to assess candidates' fit for our program from multiple angles. This approach acknowledges and honors differing insights into aspects of a student's readiness for academic challenges, while also considering other qualities such as extracurricular activities, personal essays, and letters of recommendation. Our aim is to create a well-rounded, diverse student body that can thrive in our academic and social community. This year, there is no penalty for applicants who decide not to submit test scores, nor will priority be given to those who do submit ISEE or SSAT scores.
We look forward to continuing to build an admissions process that gives students and families the opportunities to express their strengths and identities in a complete, equitable, and authentic manner.
In an effort to be good partners to prospective families, Geffen Academy at UCLA will be an ISEE test site and will offer testing dates in Fall 2025 as well as January 2026. Please visit the ERB to register. Lastly, for families interested in receiving a fee waiver for the ISEE or SSAT tests, please email our team at admissions@geffenacademy.ucla.edu and we will provide you with the necessary information.
